About 10 years ago, about 5 papers came out of Russia on epithalon. For example:

Bull Exp Biol Med. 2003 Jun;135(6):590-2.
Epithalon peptide induces telomerase activity and telomere elongation in human somatic cells.
Khavinson VKh, Bondarev IE, Butyugov AA.
St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology, North-Western Division of Russian Academy of Medical Sciences.
ibg@medport.ru
PMID: 12937682
http://morelife.org/..._12000000 .html

I haven't been able to find anything about it since then. I can't find a single study where it was given to humans, or a double blind study to measure the effects of epithalon on telomere length. Does anyone know what happened?

Well, there's this thread. I'm beginning to wonder if it's legit.

I saw that thread.
It sounds so great, but it seems so odd, that all of the research was done by a few people in Russia, and no one else has seen fit to reproduce their very interesting results.

http://www.peptidela.../epithalon.html at $8.50 / milligram it seems pretty expensive also

In that thread, there's a recent reference to a price of less than a dollar a mg. There's a lot of stuff from Russia that only Russian scientists have worked on, and nobody follows up. It's a common phenomenon...

I have been taking epithalon or AGAG for some time now. You can read mroe info here www.appliedyouth.com you can buy it there as well if you want to. I will take some Picture of my father in juni when he finish AGAG. And compare to before Picture... hopefully it will show some improvements, like Sciwalks:)

Where exactly can you buy it there?
I cannot find anything. Only a forum post by Sciwalk that reads that he no longer will supply it.

hmm seems like he has stopped yes. I bought 1 gram in december anyway. I just emailed Sciwalked like I use to do... But I think Sciwalk might take orders if they are big enough. Since then it might be Worth it. Or he just made an exception for me, since I'm really trying to document my changes. With photo and so on. My Father will have finished 500 mg in june-july started in may 2012. So hopefully there wil lbe some change there. I will try to take a pciture and post it. but I'm Young (32) and lost alot of weight. I also taken some TA-65 during my AGAG trials. So my improvement in looks might not be all be from AGAG although I beleave some is...

Hmm.. if there's not any noticeable change now, after a year of epithalon, then it's starting to appear that sciwalk's results were "not typical", or were due at least in part to factors other than epithalon.

Yeah I took before Pictures, will take some after when he finish... He competes alot in cycling for example a 30 mil run race every year, that's European miles soo 300 kilometers. It's now in june last year it took him about 10,5 hours. He claims that he feels better when training. So wil lbe interesting to see if he improves any from last year. He will be training a bit more this year than the year before... so if he doesn't comes under 10 hours I think it's a failure in that part anyway:) You can follow him if you want, just enter Anders as first name and last name Ingwall http://www.vatternru...wsite=2&lang=SV

I've taken it for a while, intermittently. It really did seem to make my dreams more vivid, wild, and intense, but I can't say I noticed any other effects.

No pictures, sorry. Subjectively, I haven't noticed anything, and no one has remarked that I look better or worse. I don't think it would prove much if I had- I've also been taking C60 OO and beta-catenin at the same time, along with some other things.

I think the best documentation would be a serious of telomere length measurements. I recently bought a large quantity of astragalus root, but I have decided not to take any until I have a telomere length test. I would like to take the test every 3 to 6 months or so, to see how the length changes over time. Hopefully astragalus, or epithalon, will increase the length, as they are purported to do.

In theory, if epithalon, were to increase the length of telomers, it could take a long time for this to be reflected in other parts of the body. Senescent may or may not come out of senescence. It could take a while for stem cells to replace the senescent cells. It could take a long time for the enzymes in aging cells, to be restored to normal levels. So it doesn't surprise me that some people are saying they don't see too many effects.

I recommend looking at the original thread:
There is a group buy on and positiveeddy will be testing telomere length before Epitalon and then every 6 months.
Besides; 2 threads on the subject is just confusing.
