Where do you buy your Vitamins and Mineral...

I am new to Nootropics and Supplements and am getting my first stack together. I find it hard though to find a supplier, which has Vitamins and Minerals as bulk powder.
Right now I am searching for the following:
- K2 with Mk-7 (from Natto)
- Magnesium Malate
- D3 (5000)
I found the Vitamins only in capsules so far. Also, I haven´t found one supplier which has all of these supplements, at least one of them is always missing.

I like the D3/K2 liquid by Thorne. It is MK4 though, not MK7.

It may be hard to find K2 and D3 in powdered form. They are fat soluble vitamins and more often sold in liquid form.

You are right, I found them only in capsules or as liquid.
I dont want to buy a combination of both because it usually contains a D3 dosage of 1000, I want to go for 5000 though (+1000 from my Multivitamins).
I read that you should always go for Mk-7, since it last for the whole day while Mk-4 lasts only for a couple hours. the source is an Amazon review though LOL, so it might be not accurate.

You are right as well, MK-7 seems to have a much higher bioavailability and plasma half-life than MK-4. However, if you take 5000 IU, you'd get 1mg of MK-4 from the Thorne liquid, which is a sensible amount (LEF's Super K contains the same amout of MK-4).
5000 IU of vitamin D is what I take too, living in this dark and cloudy country

However, I should warn you that our infamous Zoll hold back that bottle I ordered from iHerb for about 16(!!) weeks. So if you order now, your vitamin D will probably arrive seasonable for spring time...

Oh, and don't ever think of ordering anything from outside of Europe that has more than 1000 IU as one serving printed on the bottle. Otherwise you are illegaly importing a prescription-only drug which will be seized and you may have to pay a fine.
If doesn't matter how much vitamin D is in the bottle, just what is suggested on the label...

16 weeks?! Man, this is freaking vitamins. Really ridicoulus.
So you take then 5 drops of the Thorn liquid or do you use another product? I have found so far only the D3 5000 capsules from vitabay.net (i cant post links yet). They costs just 10 Euro, so I will probably get them.
Thank you very much for the info about Zoll! That could have bring me in trouble since I didn´t know it. Do you mean though outside Europe or the EU? I mean if its Europe, but not the EU, it still needs to go through to the Zoll, or am I confusing something?

You couldn´t be more right about the dark and cloudy country
Especially here in Hamburg.
That's my native town! Oh, I guess I forgot the "windy"

At the moment I'm using the prescription drug Dekristol 20,000, because I didn't expect the bottle to arrive anymore...

Sorry, I meant the EU of course. Vitabay ships from the Netherlands, that should by safe.

I have a question regarding Magnesium Malate: The member Science Guy recommended here taking 2g during the day, and 4g before going to bed. this should help against anxiety and sleep problems. However, I am kinda afraid of taking such a huge dosis and am thinking about just taking a gramm before going to bed. Would you agree with him or do you also think that this is too much?

Windy and so rainy! When I arrived here, they told me that it was just a rumor, nothing more. Well played, Sir
We always tell that to newcomers. That's our kind of humour in Hamburg

Magnesium malate is only about 15% magnesium, the rest is malic acid. Therefore, 2 gr of magnesium malate provides only about 300 mg of magnesium, which is a moderate dose. It doesn't have to be malate though, any form of magnesium will do.

Ok, I will go with Magnesium Citrate then, since it´s way cheaper.

HSW doesn't have a large stock but what they do carry is usually unbelievable in low price. I like their bags too but don't like their labels though because they wear off really easily, I can barely tell the bag of ashwagandha from the bag of schizandrol a but for the marker I used on them. I know part of the cheapness is the low tech packaging but damn, it should at least last one month of regular handling and storage.
