In an important sense, the fact that sex is today easy to obtain for men is a real problem.

If sex is what drive men to work, then...

Women aren't responsible for the actions of men. Men are. The sooner we stop encouraging this childish mentality, the better off society will be. The problem isn't 'easy sex' the problem is lack of personal responsibility for your own actions.

I agree that the biggest problem in today's society is the lack of personal responsibility.  That is what has driven us in to the world we now live in.  Instead of being responsible, almost every ill in a persons life is not their fault.  That is why more and more people have become part of the welfare state.

As with that man in California, he blamed women, his little brother, and anyone else he could think of.  Did he have real mental problems, yes.  The most startling thing with that whole case were the police.  I am a supporter of the police in general, but they are not trained to perform that type of psychological evaluation.

We live in the 'everybody gets a trophy' world.  Everybody is special and beautiful.  Everyone will be the next president.  No one is taught how to deal with failure or defeat.  And nothing is earned, everything is just given; everyone is entitled.  Life does not work that way.

The parents must shoulder part of the blame.  As should the medical professionals that treated him.  But ultimately it falls on him.
