im taking antidepressants. im wondering if exercise would enhance the effect of my antidepressants and would exercise improve my cognition

Its possible exercise will enhance your antidepressant response. What certainly will help you improve is going out and doing stuff - if that includes exercise then all the better.
Again the ball is out as to whether it will improve your cognition but it certainly won't harm it (unless you exercise in the extreme then it can also cause depression).
