I stand corrected and for that I humbly beg for forgiveness. I have undeniable evidence that God does in fact exist.

I doubt you even read past the first few paragraphs, I see lots of claims, what do you see?

I see an imprint that Mother Mary made on clothe in 1531.

Lady of Guadalupe

Virgen_de_guadalupe2.jpg

This image was imprinted on fabric supernaturally in 1531. Notice the oval orb surrounding Mother Mary.

Am I the only one who gets legitimately angry by posts like these? People like you give the human species a bad name.

How old are you? How educated are you? Have you considered not reproducing?

Did religion take away your sense of humor along with your sanity?

Forgive me, but I am not the one seeing Angels and chariots in pictures of dust particles nor am I the one seeing portals to other planes of existence in tornados

Really, how could a dead woman do this ?

She is not dead. Only her body is. She lives on in spirit.

Proof of it being imprinted supernaturally please ?

You can read the story for yourself.

http://en.Wikipedia....dy_of_Guadalupe

It is an amazing story basic to the history of North America and the conversion of Mexico as the New Spain to Christianity.  Now when you ask for "proof" which is the wrong word, we have lots of historical evidence.   I should expect evidence to the contrary.  I have read the English translations  of the original Spanish to know the story first hand.  The original of the image is hanging on public display in Mexico City.

Where is your evidence to make such an absurd claim?

Remember... extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

I think the halo around Mary may not be called am orb but what is it?  We have not defined what an orb is.  If we define it simply as a ball of light well how about Ball Lightning?  It exists though I have never seen it and I have to count on others testimony.  Is that "proof?"  We do not know what it is.  There are many other kinds of orbs which I have not seen.  Proof!

Yes such as you are only a physical body.  Does spirit die like the physical?  Even the elements of the physical body do not cease to exist, they just fall into disorganization.  Evidence?

That's exactly what I'm telling you.

In addition, where is your evidence that there is a "soul" to start with?

So, please present proof for the following:

1. Proof the soul exists

2. Proof the soul exists after death

That's not how it works, Shadowhawk. YOU and Old_School are making claims. I have no idea whether or not I have a spirit. I am also not sure if my body has various energy chakras. I am waiting for there to be any legitimate evidence pointing to the existence of these unlikelihoods. Until the evidence is presented, your claims are unsupported, foundationless, and meaningless.

I remember when I was a child and thought wisdom and knowledge was in the bible.
Now I'm an adult science and sci-fi lover and the bible seems preposterous. Incredibly provincial, so preoccupied with this earthly little ape in the desert, with slaves, kings, sheperds and patriarchs.
Obviously written by a bunch of racist sexist aggressive goat herding old men from the past.

I can see now that I am dealing with the spiritually challenged.

Not only will I show you a photograph of the afterlife. But I will do you one better. I will show you a photograph of a spirit in one of the many small chariots of God, which is the living works of the Holy Spirit.

You are not even worth responding to. I doubt even ShadowHawk can support this nonsense.

This may be one of your stupidest posts thus far. I am considering starting a new thread entitled "The Stupid Post Hall of Fame".

On a more serious note... I am 99% sure you are a troll, and I am going to contact moderators. These kind of absurd posts don't belong on a site like LongeCity.

First, I made no claims about orbs but you are being very snarky claiming to know what they arn't.  You dont even know if you have a spirit, you are waiting for evidence that is legitimate pointing what seem to you to be unlikely.  Why?  The evidence in some way will make them real or are they real before the evidence?.  You haven't defined what proof or evidence is that will give something a meaningful foundation for being real.  So the negative also has a burden of proof and your entire senero also has the burden of proof for anything you say.  You claim that is not how it works.  Evidence that you have no burden of proof and that things become real when we hav evidence.

I haven't a clue of what this is a picture off.  However I notice you do.  You as usual don't resort to reality but to calling names.  Stupid, troll, and you are going to tell big daddy.  Old School should give us more evidence and explanation but your approach is not one of reason.  Suppose we disagree with Him after it has been explained.  I have a huge library and have spent many years in School and have found few I don't disagree with on some level.  So...this is the response of Logical Fallacy.

As usual, I am having trouble deciphering your post. First, no one is talking about orbs. We are clearly talking about ones spirit. And you are correct in asserting that "I don't even know if I have a spirit".

"Evidence that you have no burden of proof and that things become real when we have evidence." - ShadowHawk

^^This is correct. I have claimed nothing. You and Old_School are making claims (that we have spirits, that they exist after death, that flying orbs are the Holy Spirit); as a result, the burden of proof falls to you. Until then, your claims are meaningless and foundationless.

I can see now that I am dealing with the spiritually challenged.

You are wrong in assuming I know (or ever claimed to know) what this image is depicting. All I'm stating is that Old_School should not be allowed to post in the Religion/Spirituality forum any longer.
