That's not how it works, Shadowhawk. YOU and Old_School are making claims. I have no idea whether or not I have a spirit. I am also not sure if my body has various energy chakras. I am waiting for there to be any legitimate evidence pointing to the existence of these unlikelihoods. Until the evidence is presented, your claims are unsupported, foundationless, and meaningless.

 

 

First, I made no claims about orbs but you are being very snarky claiming to know what they arn't.  You dont even know if you have a spirit, you are waiting for evidence that is legitimate pointing what seem to you to be unlikely.  Why?  The evidence in some way will make them real or are they real before the evidence?.  You haven't defined what proof or evidence is that will give something a meaningful foundation for being real.  So the negative also has a burden of proof and your entire senero also has the burden of proof for anything you say.  You claim that is not how it works.  Evidence that you have no burden of proof and that things become real when we hav evidence.

^^This is correct. I have claimed nothing. You and Old_School are making claims (that we have spirits, that they exist after death, that flying orbs are the Holy Spirit); as a result, the burden of proof falls to you. Until then, your claims are meaningless and foundationless.

I guess its my old libertarian bent but I don't like censorship especially by those who do not know what they are talking about. The subject is orbs in case you are having difficulty and Old School thinks the halo in the Icon he presented is an orb.  The story of the icon itself is even more amazing but no one seems to want to talk about it.  Just snarky names.  And now just censor the subject.    It has been done before when those who are not really interested in spiritual subjects want to stop discussion.  You don't even know what ball lightning is yet you want to censor someone for having a view.  I don't either but I am willing to listen and find mockikng ignorant and distasteful.

I am adhering to your standards of name calling Shadowhawk, so perhaps consider that when you review your posting history to search for examples.

 

 

When dealing with other people, I wouldn't consider using the word hypocrite as calling someone a 'name', I would normally consider that a description of behavior. You seem overly sensitive about having your behavior pointed out to you, but have absolutely no hesitation in directing that very same behavior your are sensitive about towards other people. That is your problem and not mine, but at least you seem to be fortunate enough to be completely oblivious to it and thus spare yourself the shame.

Why do I feel like I am talking to someone with no social skills when dealing with you? You can't claim to want respectful and civil conversation when you rudely dismiss people, make both direct and veiled insults, and cry martyr when people respond to you in kind. Respect/Civility and your behavior is like oil and water, because they do not mix. Honestly I have a hard time with accepting the fact that a human being can actually be this oblivious to their own behavior. As a result, it makes it very difficult to treat you as anything other than a troll.

 

If you really want open, honest, polite, and civil recourse it absolutely is going to have to begin with you. Your reputation here has been fairly earned and the only one that can change it now is you.
