I recently just got my cholesterol levels checked. Trig: 115 HDL: 59 LDL: 36. I have no idea what to take from this. Should I try and boost my LDL.? I've been vegan for about a year now. Exercise daily. Eat a shit load of vegetables of all kinds every day. I'm thinking adding oil to veggies and eating two eggs once a wek to increase my LDL. Thoughts?

My LDL is in 19 and I'm unable to raise it. I think that this may be the cause of my generalized tiredness.

Assuming your saturated fat intake is extremely low the easiest thing is probably 1-2 glasses of ~~3% milk every day.

Or maybe peanut-butter... or butter on hot food dishes.

Yeah. I did a quick google search, so it seems it can get too low however. Somewhere around 100 is good, and too far away from that number could be quite bad, apparently.

As far as saturated fat if I recall the recommendation is no more than 20g a day or thereabout. (Saturated fat  would  probably raise LDL)

That is really low! The lowest my LDL has been is 56 mg/dl.

If you're worried about it, you could just eat a bit of saturated fat and do another test in 3 months.
