I've only just started learning about nootropics and am trying to get into it. I thought this might be beneficial to me, because I need to absorb and process large amounts of data. I don't just need to remember information, I need to be able to deduce and formulate other ideas from it as well. After doing a bit of research, I thought this would be idea as I feel I do have a "brain fog", some mild generalized anxiety, difficulty retrieving words, bad short- and long- term memory etc. Ideally, I am looking for a long-term solution here with as little cycling as necessary.

Right now I am looking at:
Aniracetam
ALCAR
GinkoBiloba
Panax Ginseng
Bacopa
L-Theanine

I haven't worked out the doses yet, but I first wanted to hear if I'm going in the right direction. I decided to look into Aniracetam because of it's anxiolytic effect. I suspect that some of my issue might be mild generalized anxiety. Hence the L-Theanine as well. I read on these forums that the ALCAR has great synergy with racetams, which is why I chose it over Alpha-GPC or Choline.

I'm not thrilled about having to take Aniracetam 3-4x a day (over the course of ~10 hour day), but I'd rather not an anxiogenic like Oxiracetam (although the motivation boost could be important for me). I am worried about the "feeling suppression" of Pramiracetam, that I've been reading about as well as I am in a relationship.

My question is, am I starting out the right way?
Is there any basis to my fear over using a different racetam?
Is there something I should be adding/substituting/removing?

Also, according to one site, Aniracetam is more effective for right-brain functions while Oxiracetam increases left-brain functioning. Is there any basis to this? If so, a combination of Aniracetam and Oxiracetam might be beneficial for me.
