The park closes at ten, when that time comes its light out and you have to leave.

I sumbitted this blog to digg. Go to digg and add a digg to all the life extension blogs you can find, I saw about 4 of them when I was there, and add some more too. I should have linked that digg from here, what was I thinking. In any case...

The park closes at ten, when that time comes its light out and you have to leave.

That's how a lot of people treat life. They think that aging spells out the final closing time and that we have to listen to it. It's not the park that's closed, its these peoples openness to thought that are closed. Aging can be combated, aging is being combated and we need to raise the voice for those of us that want to keep the park open. Help us make some noise.

You know the people that want to close the park all too well, the religious fanatics who think their mysticism and closed mindedness somehow translates into reality. Then there's those grumpy old stubborn people who will only believe one way all their lives and never care to think about it again. (not sure a lot of them thought about what they think about the world the first time around ) These people aren't for change. These are the people who fought the invention of the car and industry, technology and the advancement of medicine. They said we can't, we shouldn't and that they won't help. They closed the door on the advancement of the future. But we walk through it, we keep going.

We have to. The world is losing, a hundred, thousand, people a day to the diseases of aging. We are losing our national treasures every day. James Brown, Tim Russert, Jeff Healey, George Carlin, Luciano Pavarotti, Merv Griffin, Coretta Scott King, the list goes on and on.

The park closes at a certain time and they just have to get the hell out? No! They don't, the park doesn't close, and we can fix the debilitating effects of aging. We can repair and reverse aging. The Methuselah Foundation and their SENS project is working to do it. Dr. Aubrey deGrey is touring the country talking about it at conferences and on television wherever he goes, working to keep the 'park' open. The NIA has been formed to work on it. Imminst, the WTA, Betterhumans and our lobbyist Tom Mooney at the Coalition to Extend Life in Washington are diligently working on it. Aging is a disease that this great world of ingenuity will beat. We are working on it, and its projected to happen if our life times if you stand up and say yes too.

Help us to keep this park open, we are not leaving at lights out!
