Hello, I am currently taking some PS capsules from Doctor Best and I have noticed that the smell coming from them is truly awful, they smell like pure varnish. Is this the regular smell of PS or it is powder in the capsules likely adulterated?

FWIW I opened some caps of Jarrow brand and they had no smell. Sounds like a bad batch. I'd try to get a refund/replacement from the place you bought it from.
