According the the lab that seems to be owned by Mike Adams of Natural News, Gaia Organic herbs consistently comes up with the least heavy metal contamination of all the herbs he tested.  Frontier, Starwest, and NOW come up the highest.  I've been warning people about NOW for a while due to supplements not containing what they said they did.

I've been recommend Gaia Organics liquid herbal extracts for a while because I like their purity, quality, potency, and freshness as well as their methods of extraction/preservation.  Their stuff is also more expensive and harder to find at a discount.  If enough of us lobby Swanson's and Vitacost, they can carry more of this product.

You can see these lab results if you enter in a valid sounding email, even if it is at nowhere.com.

There's a thing called Google that should be helpful.

Good point?  Hmmmmm.

FYI- the ones that contain crude herbs are the ones that tested high. The ones that only contained extracts tested low. This is typical for standardized extracts. The heavy metals in the crude herbs get left behind during the extraction process. Now foods product contains crude Gotu Kola leaf which typically tests high. Starwest and Frontier appear to be just ground up crude ginkgo leaves which, besides containing heavy metals, are pretty much useless anyway except for making extracts out of.

Thanks MrSpud.   The negative comments on my last post are the kind of thing that are killing the site.  Contributors feel less like contributing when they are deluged with irrational criticism, and attacks from disturbed misogynists.  Where is the next Longecity?

Anyone?

Maybe smart-ass posts are "killing the site", rather than the negative ratings that they get because people find them annoying and unhelpful.
