Aside from antihistamines and corticostero...

I'm looking for something that will systemically dampen down allergic response.
If I recall, the immune response in an allergic reaction is mediated by mast cells degranulating and releasing histamine which initiates an immune response cascade.
So perhaps something that stabilizes mast cells.
Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) comes to mind. Anything else for systemic allergy control?

Tinospora cordifolia might be an option, at least for allergic rhinits.

For the acute easing of my sneezing fits during Rhinitis season, a teaspoon full of ascrobic acid powder in water always works. As well as any antihistamines I was prescribed.

Black Cumin Seed Oil also has an effect on Rhinitis -
Everyone is different. I take black cumin seed oil, its milled seeds, tinospora cordifolia extract and Vitamin D at high doses consitently for years and other reasons. Only vitamin C seems to help with acut symptoms of rhinitis in my case. But would be glad to hear it they helped others.

It looks like quercetin seems to have some evidence for modulating allergic/immune responses down. But, I'm not sure how I feel about taking it on a continuous basis.

I did take quercitin for a time a few years ago, all I can say is I didn't find it pleasant, made me feel a little bit weird. I only took 400mg per day for a few weeks.
From the little I've read about it, Quercitin might have a lot of different activities in the body, so I imagine perceived effects could be unpredictable and vary a lot from person to person.

Rx drug - Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) 3.0-4.5 mg/night.
Tricks the body to optimize the immunity, with no side effects.
1 pill stopped severe hives I was having 3 times a week..
I had these outbreaks for 8 years.. but it was getting worst.
M.D.s did not have a clue..
I took LDN daily for several years.
Now I only take it a few times a month.
Have had no hives, colds or sinus infections in the last 8 years now.

I actually started LDN about 3 months ago for some chronic pain that has been untreatable for years. Works better than I could have ever imagined. And I'm only taking 1.5mg/day.
I think it can stabilize mast cells, so it may very well help with allergies.

TMG also reduces Histamines.
I have heard that about LDN and pain... but never saw those benefits myself.
I had a woman with severe asthma.. got off her Rx Meds over 3 years ago.
MSM-Sulfur reduced it 50% in 3 days..
Adding LDN and it stopped 95%.

Cordyceps, butterbur, ginger, astragalus, quercetin+bromelain, black seed oil, epicor, molecular hydrogen water, allicin/aged garlic extract, rosmarinic acid, korean ginseng, EMIQ, curcumin, anthocyanin extracts, spirulina.
Of the list of substances i've taken for the sole purpose of alleviating rhinitis, nothing has been profoundly effective. High dose ginger seems to help acutely. Black seed oil, butterbur, quercetin, cordyceps, curcumin, spirulina, and aged garlic extract would all make my shortlist. For all the other supplements, the research is there, even if I didn't notice benefits.
