I think Max was right about 35mg being too much, the ibudilast seemed to give it a second wind, but once all drugs were washed out of my system my stomach was in revolt. Ive never handled stimulants very well. Im interested in learning more about phentermine pharmacology now just to make sure I know what it does to suppress hunger, which I find to be the most useful aspect of it. The stimulation is rather excessive for me. I probably won't be taking any more in the future, my stomach simply wont have it at the end of the day.

Phentermine has been a GREAT amphetamine substitute for me. On paper it looks like a bunch of shitty norepinephrine stimulation, but for some reason it lifts my mood and energy levels amazingly. (It's more of a physical stimulation where amphetamines are more mental). Just 15 mg of phentermine keeps me going for hours without the anxiety of 2-FMA. Maybe 35 mg was too much for you?

I now do 2 weeks on phen and 2 weeks on 2-FMA every month to keep from building a tolerance to either one. If only phen wasn't so expensive :\

Does phentermine induce that burned-out feeling you get after a while on amphetamine? How's the comedown?

It does for me, but I'm rather sensitive to amphetamines.

This Qsymia (wtf, stupid name!) shit seems interesting as it uses far less phentermine (an amount a lightweight like me could possibly handle). The anorectic effects of stimulants interest me the most, eating less is usually always a good thing for fat Americans.

http://en.wikipedia....mine/topiramate
The following doses of phentermine IR (immediate-release) and topiramate ER were used in Phase 3 testing:[11]
• Top dose: phentermine 15 mg and topiramate ER 92 mg
• Recommended dose: phentermine 7.5 mg and topiramate ER 46 mg
• Starting dose: phentermine 3.75 mg and topiramate ER 23 mg

Try some phenylpiracetam as a replacement (but there are tolerance issues).

I have a feeling that this is the same in green, there is some kind of phenyl ring on it and maybe its sort of a prodrug to something amphetamine-like.
I tend to get a distinct comedown from it so it feels kind of similar to amphetamines

I had forgotten just how toxic amphetamines feel, ugh.

Today's been a slower day reading, @500/1000pp of personal notes. I'd really love to finish this weekend. I don't think I'm going to be repeating phentermine any time in the future. At least I got to experience its interaction with nicotine and ibudilast. Just the thought of taking another amphetamine makes me want to vomit. My tolerance must have reduced, just can't handle this toxin.

weird, they honestly barely feel toxic to me.. alcohol is way way worse yet still not very bad (as a comparison)
that sucks for you, but I guess it is a good thing.. easy to get addicted to something when you dont get many side effects.

That's true, if it didn't make me feel so lousy I might be tempted to abuse it, but it usually makes me feel worse longer than it made me feel any better. I must have a fat and weak brain. I still feel like I was hit in the head with a brick from just 35mg phentermine yesterday. Guess it's not the drug for me.

BAck to reading.. fuck, I hate reading.

^ Not for me it doesn't. I took it for 17 days straight without losing much of the original 'magic'. It can be very dehydrating and headache-inducing if you don't drink tons of water. Makes my heart race more than other stimulants too. It's sort of like a cross between ephedra and meth in terms of the physical stimulation and other effects. (More similar to ephedra than meth though).

There seems to be NO cross tolerance between phen and the amphetamines I was taking (2-FA, 2-FMA, 4-FA). Not sure about the comedown since I took it in small doses from the time I woke up until bed. (30 mg per day usually).

I officially quit Adderall. Threw my entire script out, now I just have to quit zoloft for the second time. From 25mg to zero.

I've ordered phenylpiracetam and aniracetam, plus several allosteric GABA modulators. I feel like my brain is beginning to function properly again. It is a miracle. Im even getting back into meditating and astral projection, which the adderall made IMPOSSIBLE. Trying to meditate was like pulling teeth on it. I had a literal aversion to it and all spirituality/creativity from amphetamine. It was like an unseen force, demonic-seeming, pushed me away from any self development, and towards all forms of fleeting, obsessive, sense-pleasures. Particularly ones which fill you with shame, regret, or just general loss of positive energy.

I dont believe in posession, but it is the closest thing to describe what I felt from adderall..

I was possessed by amphetamine.

But I have found the light. No not Jesus, but just the will power to break free of my deluded view of my ADHD medicine and the will to realize and actualize that I can be a much better me by no longer taking it.

There is hope, haha

Very nice find. This applies to d-amp damage as well, Im sure, so maybe I will get a supply of ginseng to help this repair process

Quit it some time ago. Then tried Focalin, was ok. Tried also Strattera. I quit them all after a hellish withdrawl period along with the other pharms I'm taking.

Too bad. Like all the people here have trouble stoping dextramphetamine lol. Seems like they are prone to this more or less geneticaly + taking it in a series of months and years without stoping, making it unpleasant ocasionaly. I usually reserve it for a special, when extra strength is needed. I've been taking ephedrine (most likely a similar mechanism of tolerance), and once tolerance develops, dose can go up to 150mg but the effects would be weak, especially if you don't eat.

Tried adrafinil in the past, didn't work. Someone I know who has ADHD has been prescribed 20mg vyvanse/lisdexamfetamine and didn't like it, cut it down to 5mg ( equivalent of 1.5mg dextroamphetamine ) and has reaped a lot of benefits, taking it for school days, with no side effects, crash, or comedowns during off days. It's all about how you dose it, how YOUR body reacts to it, and how you're able to resist the temptation of increasing the dose. You shouldn't feel high on a therapeutic medication, that's for sure.

stimulant uses up your resources faster so it is important to take proteins etc otherwise health will decline
