Hey guys, I'm currently producing an online longevity summit.  I intend to have speakers covering both practical information as well as speakers talking about the "state of the industry."

Are there any particular speakers you would like to hear from?

Are there any specific topics that you all would like to hear about?

Thanks for the input, and I'll keep everyone here updated on everything as it comes together.

I should point out that I would like to provide insight for those already knowledgable within the longevity community, as well as to hopefully open the eyes of some common folk.

This is an interesting idea. How will you organize the online longevity summit? Do you have a web page or something?

The basic idea is to produce a series of presentations based on interviews with about 25 experts, including researchers, practicing clinicians, and anybody else who can add value to the conversation.  The presentations will be made available for free online streaming for a limited period of time, as well as made for sale to access after the free viewing period.  The goal is to synthesize a comprehensive view of all the current longevity information into a tight centralized package - I think both "veterans" of the longevity movement will be able to learn from it, as well as expose some outsiders to the idea of living healthier, longer lives.

There isn't a website yet as I'm still figuring out the infrastrucure and logistics of it all, but I'll post it here when that is set.

Any input or ideas are definitely appreciated.

Why not you make an youtube channel instead? There are so many aging, anti-aging, longevity and immortality - related videos already in youtube. What kind of specialists are you looking for?

There are a number of reasons for creating a singular event over just posting videos on youtube - the two main ones being more exposure and ability to cut through the noise.  There's a lot of BS out there surrounding longevity and I'd like to get to the meat of it and compile it into a concise package to educate people.  I appreciate the thoughts, but I'm not here to convince you of why I'm doing this :)

As I said, I'm looking to include specialists who are both doing research as well as health practitioners who have real world experience.  Really though, anybody who has valuable wisdom to share when it comes to living a longer life of health.  I already have a list of people I'm starting to contact, but I wanted to see if anybody here on Longecity has any specific person or topic that they want to know more of.

I have Dale E. Bredesen on my list of potential presenters to contact.

Here is some of his recent work: http://impactaging.c...ull/100690.html
