Take his point though, the birth of Scientilogy in our time shows just how easy it is to form a religion based on fictitious supernatural writings. Seemingly intelligent people genuinely succumbing to "believe"
Extrapolate that out some two thousand years and it's not hard to see how L Ron could in people's minds have become a jesus figure of his time and Dianetics become the gospel.

See how insane your faith looks now in the light of the emergence of a modern day religion born from fantasy?

What makes your religion any different?

Actually there are huge differences and they are not at all alike.  Hubbard says little about God and may have beliefs similar to yours.  He uses modern technology as well.

I hope you are able to make the distinction between proof and evidence.  Proof is a term of logic and math which is often based on unproven axioms.  In this sense proof is a logical fantasy.  I can give you evidence showing it is reasonable to believe in God.  However this forum is often so childish that all detractors can do is call names  and mock.  They think their logical fallacies are proof.

More hypocrisy.... complaining about people calling name and mocking you, while calling people names and mocking them.

Do you do this on purpose with intent or are you completely oblivious to it?

I notice you say nothing with any content or response to what "Proof," is.  So rave on.

No, you linked to photographs from a GHOST HUNTERS website.

Where the images were already there for a long time before you started spreading your fantasy about them on the net like a virus.

Dishonest and no credibility at all......no wonder you're a christian.

I have seen both the Holy Spirit and chariots of God with my own two eyes and can thus identify photographs of them. Also, I have included scripture supporting my claims.

Sorry, you are wrong.

L. Ron Hubbard is the true prophet and I have the writings in his scripture (Dianetics) to support my claims.

Mocker

I am not raving about anything Shadowhawk and you did not answer my question. Why are you avoiding doing so?

As far as your name calling goes, I was not mocking anyone. That was sarcasm, not mockery.

Actually they are a lot alike when you don't view it through religion tinted glasses.

Actually they do, but you aren't seeing that because of your strong involvement with your faith. You can't look at it without bias.

Only a childlike mind would compare the Christian religion to a cult like scientology.

Seems like this guy has it summed up pretty well.
You can easily see how christianity started by looking at the birth of Scientology. You just don't like it because it makes you look like fools the same way people look at scientologists like fools, because they are.

Can any of you christians disprove Scientology ?
Well that must mean it's really the true path to follow then.

How many years have you wasted following the false christian god when worshipping the real prophet L Ron was staring you in the face all the time ?

I don't hear a lot of claims of child sexual abuse among scientologists, so already they're a better people than christians...

Can you explain to me how such a baseless and cheap personal attack fits in with your Christian values?

Look, I completely understand that you aren't able to look at this from a different perspective because of your beliefs.  From my perspective, however, Christianity is a cult as well. I don't expect you to be able to understand that, but at least try to keep the pointless insults to a minimum if your goal is to do something other than troll these forums.

Over half the world believes in the same God that I believe in. He is the God of Abraham. He has a Son named, Jesus.

YHWH, Allah, or simply 'God'....

Jesus, Muhammad, Messiah or not....

Torah, Quran, or bible ....

Members of the Abrahamic religions have spent thousands of years murdering, torturing, raping, enslaving, persecuting, and warring with each other over differences of 'opinion'.

Even with Christianity itself so many differences of opinions

Protestant or Catholic.

Jehova Witness, Catholic, Baptist, Morman, Rastafarian, etc.

Who is right and will ascend to heaven and who is wrong and will burn in hell (or not depending, lol). ?

Just a shotgun  approach.  This is a logical fallacy not an argument based on calling people names and making false comparisons.  Not worth the time.  That sums up most of their responses.  Lets go back to talking about the topic Old School.  It seems to me that there are two competing  views each having a type of God/god.  They explain why there is something rather than nothing and each built on faith.  One says there is a physical wold plus a creator/God and the other which says there is a physical world which is the creator/god.  Take two engineers who design airplanes.  One is a Theist while the other an anti theist or an atheist.  What is the difference in the way they view an airplane, or to be true to the topic, an orb?

Off topic, you are not interested in anything but logical fallacies and name calling.

Good grief, another translation:

"Now I'm really angry and you're undermining my fragile ego, how dare you, I want to move past the dirty aspects of my faith as I cannot argue them and I only want to argue things I think I can win and look intelligent doing so"

I can easily argue them but am not interested in doing so with a bigot who has no interest in the truth.  All it is is a pissing contest and I gladly will let you win.  Now back to the subject.

Lady of Guadalupe

Virgen_de_guadalupe2.jpg

This image was imprinted on fabric supernaturally in 1531. Notice the oval orb surrounding Mother Mary.
