Sorry to hear old_school that you've fallen for one of those age-old scams. This is the one life you will certainly have ok?

Sorry to hear that you are blind.

Just because you heard voices in your head doesn't make god real either.

Lets face it, other christians laugh and ridicule you and your stories too

I am not schizophrenic.

Quite frankly, I am not intelligent enough to be making up such stories.

My parents were atheists and taught me atheism. :)  However there is weak evidence for it.

Since you live in the US that hardly matters as your country is so tainted by religion in general and by Christianity in particular. I've noted in the US it is completely "normal" to be religious while in many parts of Europe religious people are frowned upon and seen as quaint folks from a bygone era.

US folks generally tend to be susceptible to the effects of propaganda and anything that instills fear of the unknown

Have you actually visited the US and seen the world outside the US so you can compare? The number of churches in the US is ridiculous..

Being American of course and Italy has as many Churches everywhere.  Ours is the third largest country in the world so like any other country this size there is lots of failure but also lots of success.  Ridiculous to whom?  So now it is bash America by an Italian and New Zelander.

The largest charity system in the world by far, there isn't even a close second, is the Christian Church.  But there isn't any use arguing with a bigot.  There are two rescue missions in my area which are Christian as well as soup kitchens which serve food twice a week.  My own home has a large food bank Valley Churches United which gives away tons of food.  My own Church collects food all the time which we give away.  We put on a large homeless dinner twice a month.  All the other Churches I know do the same kind of thing.  The Salvation Army and St. Vincent De Paul are works going on all the time.  Christians have schools, orphanages and hospitals.  And what are you doing?

My wife and I are American Christians and we give aid to the homeless. Homeless people get most of their help in America from Christians and Christian Churches. Christians give aid to the needy throughout the entire world. Just what are you doing to help?.

Why are there so many homeless then, how much money is given to churches each year ?

Should be better spent building shelter housing for the homeless than mega churches and mansions for pastors

How about the house you live in and I assume you have a car.  Do you dress nice?  Eat good food, have a bank account?  Are you in good health?  What about your recreation?  Here is what you do, sell everything you have and give it to the poor and then come talk to me.  As I said the Christian Church gives far more in Charity than anything or anyone else in the world.  We also Give to God and the greatest and highest beauty of Humankind is dedicated to him along with charity to our fellow humans.

I'm not asking for 64 million dollars to help the poor

Nor have I stated I want to help the poor

Nor would I use the poor to profit
