Dear Readers,
I was wondering. In theory prolactin and dopamin has to be in perfect balance for a person
to feel good and sharp. So if you have a high level of one of the two the other will decrease
as much in leven as the other is high.
I know high prolactin levels are caused by stress. So in theory too much stress will low the
levels of dopamin which results in memory/libido problems etc.. ?
So my question is. Could high levels of prolactin give you memory/libido problems, and could
this be fixed with taking medication that lowers prolactin and increase dopamine ?
Thanks in advance for reading my topic,
With best Regards,

You are correct. High levels of prolactin are usually treated with dopamine agonists. Before you start any medication, please have your prolactin levels checked.

Prolactine, I noticed when my problems vanished when I ate certain foods. So on this way I realized it was connected somehow

Completly vanisht not, but a significant positive effect on my memory. The food was 'pea' with ´bacon´. And pea is known to
decrease prolactine levels . I did researched on it and discovered the relationship between prolocatine en
dopamine and how it could effect your memory.
