One of the nicest forum scripts I've seen. Very slick :)

It seems like the quote boxes are a little off...no indication where the quoted text ends and the author's text begins, at least on my monitor.

Very nice design and features, but a little spaced out for my preference. I like a more streamlined, compact design. But definitely nice.

^This, but very nice.
Having the chatbox back is pretty nifty.

Is the google search box gone? Not critical, since it can be done from the google page with the site:imminst.org tag, but it was very handy having it at the top of each page.

The forum search bar is very nice. I think having the default as "this page" is of questionable utility, as it's easier to do this in the browser with CTRL+F (unless it's multipage). A flow of this subforum -> this forum section -> whole forum might be useful.

Also, I dig the ability to uprate individual posts :)

Nice job fixing the quote boxes, they look very nice ^_^ One thing about the forum search bar, there seems to be a word size limit? Searching for NGF yields no results.

I think this is a common feature of lots of forum scripts, but there are a lot of 3 letter acronyms out there.

It searches "This Topic" by default. What you want is to change the dropdown to "Forums".

Nope, no results for NGF when selecting "this forum" or "forums."

Also, the quote boxes don't seem to be working on a lot of older posts. Hopefully they can be batch-scripted to adhere to the new quote format.

Does anyone have a screen-shot of what the forum looked like before not this current change, but the previous change?

Have you found the "my settings" feature yet ?
It's on the dropdown on your username top right ?
Then Profile/Signature.

If you still can't find it, might be a member only thing ?

Also, the preview to the right of the topic name is cool, but people may have difficulty finding it.

Nothing about signatures in the drop down settings menu at the top. There are several people with user accounts that have sigs. It's just not an option in my settings.

Historically, we haven't used signatures here because they use up screen real estate without usually adding much information. A lot of them are brilliant and funny, you know, the first four or five times you read them, but then they're just there...

This is my first look at the new design. Is there any documentation regarding new features? I haven't had enough experience with it to give a fair comment, other than it's attractive from a graphic design standpoint.

I'm sort of a traditionalist so whatever i've been used to will be preferred. So i answer that "i'll have to get used to it".
