I'm going to Italy on vacation for 2 weeks. Does anyone know if it's easy to get benzodiazepines in Italy?
For example, are they prescription only there? Controlled substance? If I ask a pharmacist, can I get some?

Hi, I'm from Germany but since laws do not differ that great in this region I doubt you will be able to get Benzos without a script. In Germany some dosages are even scheduled so you need a special script.
I'm sure you will be able to get Diazepam on the street. Otherwise you can get Etizolam online within the EU without script from RC vendors.

Etizolam is your only option to my knowledge because a benzo must have a benzo ring. Therefore Etizolam while acting identically as a benzo since it lacks the benzo ring I believe it may be legal for non human consumption. However, benzos are extremely dangerous especially in long term use and even more so when you order a pile of unpacked powder. Not to be your mother or anything I just had a nasty addiction to these.

Benzos are crap and will destroy you long term, I'm talking from own experience. And don't tell me that you are just taking them for now and will stop soon, because it's most likely you wont. Get some Kava or Kratom, way better for you if you have to take something.
