looks like bipolar is finally figured out by our scientists.

previously, it was established by epidemiological and genetic studies that BP was associated with ion channels, and especially potassium: https://www.frontier...2013.00105/full

 

it's also well known that drugs effective in BP work on potassium channels.

 

so, it's official: BP is a type channelopathy and it's similar to epilepsy and migraine. Other mental diseases probably have roots in channelopathies as well (as proven by associations and genetic studies).
