New June 2024 study:

Shows 16 out of 18 brands of NMN failed

to have enough NMN in products.

 

They also tested Urolithin A where 2 out of 4 brands of Urolithin A failed to provide enough.

16/18 NMN brands had less than claimed, but I wouldn't say 16 'failed'. If you claim 1000mg and your result is 978mg (say), that is probably within a tolerable margin of variability.

 

But some did unambiguously fail: 2 brands had no NMN in and one had 86% less than claimed. 

 

Although inconvenient to take, powder looks like the safest option (but not liposomal).

When I said safest option, I meant the safest bet in terms of getting any NMN. 

 

The liposomal mix in the table in the discussed paper had poor amounts of NMN.

A few years ago someone did an NMN test that was published on one of the threads here - I can't remember which.  In that test, ProHealth was one of the best.  That's what I still use.

Sorry kiddo, RevGenetics NAD 1000 is still the best. It uses NMN and acid protected capsules. Pro health doesn't use anything that protects it from acid and costs almost 2x as much
