Seriously, this stuff can't be good for you. I used it a lot this Saturday and I feel worse off than in a longtime.

Maybe I just use too much (together with alcohol on top of that, although the neurotoxicity of alcohol is suspected to take place during the hangover, isn't it?). It's usually above 10 gr GHB per night. Gonna try with lower doses and no stims and gabapentin instead of alcohol..

You take G with alcohol?

I've been told by fellow users that this combination is toxic. Haven't looked at the research; all I know for sure is that it has a lot of potential for bad acute interactions.

Are you insane? You feel shitty because you could have died.

10g is a lot by itself and combined with alcohol its easy to get repsiratory depression

Yes, every time, in copious amount! But no more..  I thought the main problem with alcohol was the glutamate storm during the hangover but apparently both drugs causes acute increases oxidative stress. I suspect that there's a lot of oxidative stress going on in my body already, and/or my body can't handle it very well, so this was really fucking stupid.

I've been trying to do some studying this week and can't believe how much slower I am.. I am paranoid but something is not right.

I've started taking NAC and C60 and hope things will improve though. Also got a 75 x 10 ml of cerebrolysin waiting for me at the post office (thanks nootropic.eu!)

No, only very stupid and reckless. The risk for respiratory depression is probably widely overblown however.

There's protection you can take to minimize the negatives of GHB.

Before 2010 gbl had not been prohibited in russia. Ghb has been popular among bodubuilders perhaps for its increasing growth hormone always. I don't believe in neurotoxicity. Imho it's a fake concept. As to excitoxicity, any depressant causes natural body reaction to compensate for it. Therefore white delirium is developed with alcoholics within a week or so after quitting alcohol. The idea rationale here is to change depressants every week or so, for example one week mb for serotonine, another week lyrica for gaba. A list of depressants and antidepressants should be created by someone experienced. Dophamine boosters are antidepressants as well as racetams i guess.. There are also energy boosters like nicotinic acid which may have similar antidepressant's effect. Steroids like dbol also antidep

I've been using GBL for about 15 years. No more than three times per week, although most commonly once per week and the last couple of years even less than that. I replaced it with alcohol as a healthier substitute.

I'm in this thread today, because I wouldn't mind a dose now. But I've become so aware of my health over the years and I'm a bit concerned about the drug's toxic effects on the brain. If I was going out, I would still use it, but a day like this, just sitting at home, not sure if it's worth it. I guess I will end up not using it today.

Thing is, drugs are nice. Even if you can do without them, they spice up your life. And GBL makes you feel relaxed, happy and energetic at the same time. I'm here because I tried to reason myself into using some. That the toxicity is not that bad. But it's hard to tell. I wish there were more research on sporadic use.

Where have you found info on its toxicity? It's alcohol's acetoaldehyde that is toxic. Ghb is toxicity free. With age agitation processes in nervous system dominate over self-reservness with you losing self-control as a result. You have to supress agitation because nervousness is worse than additional load on liver. Staying calm and with good mood is the main thing which promotes heart and immune system health while stress is #1 life shortener. Sound sleep is #1 life extender. Ghb and many other drugs have been prohibited by evil elite to shorten our life. In russia they just poison people by false tobacco and questionable spirits alike barbiturates without activating effect besides chemtrails hiding the sun most of time. I would take ghb if i had access to it. And i would recommend that people should better smoke tea or any other leaves or even rods from broom instead of false tobacco. They smoke as kaljan without large impact on lungs. We should be more creative these days to survive not following the deadly advised false ready made ways from the corps. Supressing agitation especially for men is crucial. These facts are simple basis for life extension. If taking alcohol no more than 70gr per day it will effect only gaba receptors. In a book on drugs there was info that taking drugs surrounded by people is much more potent and with less tolerance than taking alone. With that covid affair parties have been made extinct and relict... Even earlier in fact.
